Re-claimed Mortgage exit fee's

Just wanted to post after coming across the article while looking for something else.
we wrote to our old lender (Abbey National) and told them we had only just been made aware of the mortgage exit fee's charged to us in 2006 and today we have recieved a cheque for £225.00
So thank you we havent had loans etc so arent seeking ppi but have unearthed our current mortgage had been mis-sold so we are dealing with that im glad we found the article and would encourage anyone to still pursue claiming back what you were over charged if you can
