Won some tickets to attend the regional premier of Avengers: Age of Ultron Premier @ Cineworld, Sheffield
Great - I thought
So we took our seats and got teased with 3D trailers for Ant-Man & Starwars, the film was about to start .... BANG, GREEN SCREEN flashes up and then darkness.
After 2 hours of waiting of been told "technical difficulties" with the projector they announced the premier could no longer take place.
REASON - they forgot to decrypt the movie file on the IMAX system before they tried to show it, making the file corrupt.
So well done Cineworld for making 1000 unhappy people

I too was at this screening and left very annoyed, spend about 12 quid in popcorn and drinks and left after watching a blank screen for an hour and a half..
They did give us 2 tickets to see another movie but not really simple when you've got a 1 year old and have to find a babysitter..
maybe I'll try and watch it again on Saturday0 -
We left before they announced the free tickets
