Help To Buy query

Hi all

I was wondering if you could offer some advice on teh Help to buy scheme. I was wondering how easy it is to get one from a bank?

I am just about to pay off all my debt (£8000) in a lump sum from an investment return and i will be left with about £25,000 - £30,000. After u pay the debt off i will be cancelling/reducing it so the maximum possible overdraft/credit card debt will be £2,000.

I don't have any missed payments on my account in the last 3 years but i had an issue with Three who put me in default when i was on a monthly revolving mobile internet (contract was 1 year and after the 1 year it was revolving until i notified them to cancel). That was paid and settled about 3 years ago.

The house value i am looking for is Maximum of £150,000.

Are you looking for the Help to Buy Equity Loan or Mortgage Guarantee scheme? Either way, speak with a broker they will be able to look at your incoming and outgoings as well as your credit history to work out what is possible

Bit difficult to answer this question with the information provided.

A bit like asking a tailor to make you a suit without their knowing your measurements.
