The Lawyer Apocalypse of Uber

I've posted before that Uber's business model is basically to set up an illegal minicab service dressed up as a software platform. Well it looks like I'm not the only one that thinks so:

According to the lawyers bringing the action, Uber is misdescribing its employees as external contractors in order to avoid certain benefits and taxes. It is also illegally taking some or all of the tips being given to drivers, charging passengers illegal surcharges to get to the airport and illegally discriminates against blind people (I suppose if TFL is meant to employ drunk train drivers, Uber should employ blind car drivers although I confess to not having looked at the details of that suit).
