Credit limit increase with a mortgage offer

Hi just want some advice, got a full mortgage offer from halifax last week now just got a letter off my credit card saying they going to increase my limit is this ok? Or should I tell them to leave it as it is?

I had the same thing and called them to just leave as-is just to be on the safe side.

They'll often offer, but why would you take it unless you need it?
Never accept a credit limit increase unless you've made a conscious decision of your own that you need to borrow money, or need a larger available limit."You did not pull yourself up by your bootstraps.
