Hi all
we have 4 bikes in our household but at the moment 3 are stored in an old green house that needs to be removed and 1 in the shed.
Their are 2 26", 1 20" and 1 16" and just wondering how other people store bikes, and after any recommendations
thanks as ever for any help

I have used hooks on the wall at 3-4 feet high, where you store the bike vertically with the front wheel in the hook thereby saving masses space.
You then could look for tin sheds or similar , with smaller dimensions, thus cheaper.Debt is a symptom, solve the problem.0 -
what sort of height, i guess 6 foot would be enough?0

I store my bike in our high-rise building underground parking. I simply chain the bike to a downspout. It's free. The disadvantage is that the bike becomes dusy as compared to storing it near the flat entrance door.0

Mine lives in the garden with a bicycle cover over it. It doesn't seem to do it any harm.0

I have a Gravity 2 bike rack like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/290796408010?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&chn=ps&device=c&rlsatarget=&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108
and a home-made wall-mounted shelf-pulley contraption similar to this (without the uplighters, and short shelves under each wheel): https://uk.pinterest.com/pin/312296555380699944/
There's also the garden as well....It's only numbers.0 -
I have a lockable metal bike storage shed.0

We have an ongoing 'dialogue' about where my bikes stay. I just about get off with one in the house, two is pushing it, though I often seem to manage it during the week. Weekends are slightly more tricky with my work bike often finding its way to the shed.0

Three in the shed, the 'shopping bike' under a tarp in the garden for easy access and a folder discreetly 'hidden' along the upstairs corridor indoors.
