Id create another comp addy ( i.e hotmail) and use that - most comps run for a month or 2 in advance - so just check back once a week to see if you have won.
the rare ones that run longer you could re enter but with new addy - But I think Id forget it after october.
If its hotmail you can report the sender and have it blocked completly, I get odd ones from abroad but normally around start of the month and I just delete them, dont get many
Is there an unsubscribe at base of email ???Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -

ive had alot recently, ones with no messages just attachments, and others saying you have recieved an ecard from neighnour, friend, colleague etc
thankfully they all go to spam its still annoying though£2008 for 2008 member No.4140 -
I must be (touch wood) quite lucky then - I get very little spam.
But I do get quite a few newsletters etc, but they mostly have comps on so I don't mind those!! lol
I wouldn't even open the mails just delete them, and open a new account, then after a month or so close the one you have if it is still a problem for you.Jo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52

ferrarigirlie, a few people I know have opened the you have an ecard message and it's a virus which has managed to get through the av software.
If anyone does get an ecard message, just delete, delete, delete.

If its major spamming DON'T unsubscribe to the emails, that will then just tell the spammers the account is active and they will continue to send them.
Depending on what email account you use, you can sometimes block those addresses in the server, so they don't actually come through to your inbox
I use a hotmail and yahoo account for comps and very rarely get any spam, but like ferrarigirlie and others I've been getting tonnes of dodgy e-cards on my "official" email address and I rarely use that!0 -
it just goes to show,we dont know where on earth some of our details are going,id just urge everyone to be very wary,id say about 99 precent of sites r fine but obviously someone is using this as a means to either sell on details or just completely spamming peoples emails,i am so so so glad i do not put all my true details on all these comps as anyone could use your name and adress and date of birth to rack up thousands of pounds worth of credit,so please be wary when filling in your details to certain sites. It`s getting to the point0
