When I go to the login or sign up page it greets me by name as though I am logged on but when I go to the comp page I am not logged in and entering my details tells me I am not registered. I had the same issue but i registered again using the pop-up box you get when clicking the "you must be logged in" text underneath all the comments. I was sent and email with my username and password with a link to click through to the blog.
