Starting a DMP, im incredibly anxious!

We start our DMP next week just finishing the paperwork now.
Through Stepchange also and have had some good bits on my thread too.
Here we go 2,3,4.
I agree that its got to be a positive start to getting back to enjoying life instead of trying to exist meeting full payments when you can quite...

I would echo some of the posters on this topic about the importance of having an emergency fund. I have been in a dmp for 4 years and have just under one year left. i have never had a chance to build up an emergency fund and when things have gone wrong, like the washing machine breaking down or an unexpected vets bill, I have literally been left with about £2 to last me a week until my pay day. As a result i phoned in work sick as I could not afford to put petrol in the car...but i have found charity shops and ebay a life saver too
