Advice please - mortgage for holder of spouse visa with only 5 months remaining

    That's a shame, I was in a similar position, only not buying a house. The visa came back within 6 months of applying. So the delay will for you will be large in terms of buying a house.


    The Indefinite Leave visa, omg that took nearly 13 months to come back. Make sure you get a fast track application.


    Will lenders accept you alone, I presume you don't earn enough to cover the mortgage on paper?

    There's at least one lender who will do this as he's been working here more than three years.

    I assume it's above 75% as at or below that, Santander don't take any interest in visa length.
