Hi all,
I was discharged bankrupt last September and was just wondering if there are any credit cards out there that i could apply for to try and build my credit back up ,
I checked my rating and my score was 595 which is poor on the scale.
Thanks Lizzy

Hi, I was able to get a vanquis card 6 weeks after I was discharged and I just got a capital one card so 10 months after discharge.
If you do get a card, I would really recommend that you just spend a few pounds on it every month and then pay the full amount when you get your statement. This will help build your credit rating back up and you won't pay a penny in interest, if you were to build up a balance the interest would be a horrible amount!

I got Vanquis & Capital one within a couple of days of discharge. As the previous poster says, use it for things you were going to buy anyway eg shopping or fuel then pay in full each month.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
SPC 11 (2018) #4850
