yes i was charged PPI. here is a breakdown of the original bill.
total cash price £7700
gold promo subsidy £1951
deposit £49
amount of credit £5700
PPI £922.77
total loan facility £6622.77
annual rate of interest 19.92%
TYPICAL APR variable 22.2%
minimum monthly repayments £127.64 x 120 months + £75.00 acceptance fee = £15391.80.
BEAR IN MIND I ONLY EVER MADE 2 MONTHS PAYMENTS, NOW IM PAYING £5 PER MONTH.
Accelerated monthly repayments £245.84 x 36 months + £75 acceptance fee = £8925.240 -
you need to find out the information in the terms and conditions of the PPI, what it covered you for etc. If you believe you should have been covered under the agreement then you need to persue that avenue.0

If your payments were covered by the insurance then you would still be with the original lender, they sold it on because they hadn't been paid.0
