I have tried and failed twice!!! Now I'm ready to try again.

Hello MSE World

I have tied and failed at getting debt free twice now but am back in the saddle and raring to go.

When I say failed, I have improved my circumstances greatly and my debt is about 1/2 what it was in 2013 but I have found that an old vice has returned to haunt me.... Gambling.

I haven't been on a site for so long but we just got back from a family reunion in California and I spent 3 days in Vegas and came out a winner, the problem is that since I got back from holiday I have gambled away about £500. Just gone...

I have therefore decided that I need to make this my home for a while so will try to post each day how my spending (or not) is going and work out how to finish paying the other half of my debt off.

I will have to sit down and figure out just how much I owe each of my creditors now and get to work at snowballing again, thankfully the highest APRs are all paid and now I am paying for the other debts on schedule payments that I set up in 2013 and have remained steadfast in paying. What I haven't done is pay more as I started to earn more. I set up my own business and am now earning from it too so hopefully it will all come together soon.

Sorry for the ramble everyone but I needed to start my diary honestly.

Love to all
K
