Unlike 'Wheres my Cashback' at least I've got to not hide who I am.
We're all hiding who we are. As far as I know, none of us has ever posted our real full name and postal address details to identify who we are and I understand that that would be contrary to forum rules and isn't allowed anyway (for very good reasons).0 -

If I talk differently to how I used to its because it's something I'm passionate about. I'm still at a loss that people have clearly voted Tory without even knowing what the party stands for. This makes me angry. Their stupidity has put the worst party ever in to power.
I class myself as Scottish and I get sick of the people in England calling us all and Sundry. You don't see the scots doing likewise to England. All we want to do is rid ourselves of the Westminster elite and have a chance at going our own way and all of a sudden were nasty for genuinely wanting change because London politics is no longer serving us (or Wales/N.I.) anymore.
I know many SNP supporters as I have a specific Twitter account for politics and not one them has any animosity towards the English.....but the other way around, it disgusts me and disgusts the rest of us on Twitter to the point where it does get you down.
Ive not for one minute said people can't vote for who they like. It's a democracy after all, just like over 50% of Scots voted SNP. But yet the elitist press is calling us everything under the sun. And one point during the election campaign David Cameron said that if Labour shacked up with "that lot" he would look in to it to see if it was "unconstitutional" and you wonder why us Scots get more and more dissillusioned with Westminster? Scotland was traditionally a Labour stronghold but unlike the rest of the U.K we weren't afraid to stand up on poling day and give them a right bloody nose to let them know what we think of them.
So yeah, apologies if I've been a bit different compared to what I used to be. I've been trying to get away from the political tweets and trying to change to humour.0 -

Is a ban from the forum a lifetime ban that can never be reversed? I just wonder, as is there not some concept of allowing people to be reformed. Even murderers don't get lifetime locked away (and I'm not saying that they can be reformed - I'm merely making a rather obscure point that durations of bans from forums, if indeed they are imposed for lifetime, are arguably disproportionate when compared to "bans", or imprisonment, for other, way more serious, matters.
I'm technically banned from a certain physical place in RL. Unfortunately I complained about something that happened there that was completely unacceptable to me, was upsetting me severely and extremely often and was completely wrong and they took the approach of turning on me, the victim, and banning me from their premises to solve the problem for themselves - and did so in a manner that, despite being fully and specifically expressly informed in advance would be likely to have the effect that it did on me, was so harsh that it caused a severe reaction in myself, causing me to have to seek medical treatment from my doctor and, in my view, therefore amounted to a breach of the criminal law by themselves.
I've taken their ban however completely literally and complied with it completely and fully and never gone anywhere near their premises since. Since it was arguably related to my disability, and the ban was sent in response to a request for reasonable adjustments to be made, which they not only ignored but failed to allow me to continue access their premises in a manner that a person without my disability could, their continued ban arguably amounts to a continued breach of discrimination law committed on every separate date since it started - and indeed is so effective that it has prevented me from even attempting to try to access their premises at all and therefore even more effective in its discriminatory effect, thus compounding the breaches even more.
However I am not visiting their premises - instead I plan to wait for 30 years and then to write in to them to ask them whether I am banned from their premises and, at that stage, point how wholly and completely disproportionate the effective length of their ban has been compared to whatever it was that caused them to ban me in the first place.0
