"And there's another problem: abuse. Some chancers are popping in for a free coffee and walking straight out. "

There isn't a minimum spend to qualify for free coffee (at self serve, not cafe) though, is there?

you are quite right anon but when I go to my waitrose (not that near so only a couple of times a month) queues at customer services where they have to show their waities card and then go and get a coffee from the machine...as i said i don't I just get it and go shopping or shop and get it on the way out...never been chased by security yet but theres always hope....one day..

and this shop is in a very very posh area..if that makes a difference..no idea why it should...rich people are often rich because they don't like spending it...not that I disagree at all...it appears I am now having an argument with myself...APG GATE has obviously got to me
