Please can I ask is there an obvious way of finding out who your local councillor is?

Our very hands on knowledgeable councillor sadly stood down on Thursday as he is nearly 80 and we had a choice of 4 to vote for as his replacement. I've looked on the website but its not been updated so it does not say who the new one is.

In theory I could ring or email each of the 4 up but can you imagine the conversation - Did you win or not on Thursday - three oh dear very sorries. And then the one that did win gets the full extent of my problem.

I did email the parish council but they just gave me the number of the Highways people so I cant get in touch with them until Monday by which time it could be chaos.

I've got an email ready that I can print off and drop off at the highways office which is local but I don't want to incite my OH into a paddy

What I am still fretting about is the main road closure which started on Friday. I did a circuit yesterday and non of the approaching roads have diversionary signs so traffic is being left to find its own way round - inevitably its taking the shortest point - not down the bypass but across the estate on the other side of the railway on one side of the closure and down a country lane on our side

You know I cant even reply to you what I want to because some boring person is going to report me yet again

You know what I think as we have already spoke about this :kisses3:

Just so people know have been reported 3 times at least in the last fortnight or so once for a post to ilgd that she laughed about, once for the post about a woman on the beach wearing a burka  and once for a post to fc :p So on a yellow card now and fully expect a red by Tuesday

Someone is out to get me banned and they are going to succeed
I understand any one of my posts taken on their own could cause offence  but that is not how they are meant I am here to save a bit of money and have a :D

OMG, somethings are beyond believe and some people need to get a life!
