I was really offended that the smoke alarms didn't go off :o I just need to show that cooker a sausage and they go off!

A smouldering tea towel just doesn't cut it. And I had three little faces with ' please don't cook for us' written all over them.....looking at me

DS1 has not helped. He told the kids if I give them anything with cheese on to look under the cheese because I spent his childhood covering cooking disasters in grated cheese

That is true to be fair :o

    Oh mhoc......fox cub.........wish we had a pic:)

So do I but its even more skittish than his mum - if we had some nice dry evenings then just maybe - at least it means that they are proper rural foxes that don't have human contact

Its run through a couple of times now but mainly in the bushes and shadows.
OH is wondering if they are under the shed - unlikely as I've seen it running into the field. The cats have a short cut under the fence into next doors garden and the fox uses it as well and this is by the shed.

The mortality rate for cubs is 50% which is sad but inevitable
