We had a couple of Vista desktops and I recently updated them to Windows 7 - it cost £17 each for a Windows 7 COA on eBay (it is a license code off a broken computer - in theory sold with the broken machine but in practice you can collect the machine if you wish, to join the licence that they send through eBay messenger) - I saw it as borderline legitimate as it activated through Microsoft themselves and lots sold on eBay for quite some time so if it were illegal I rationalised it would have been closed down. The software can be downloaded from Digital River (again legitimate software). Remember if you did an upgrade you may lose existing programmes and files so need to back up first.


I have done this in preparation for the free upgrade to Windows 10 as Windows 7 will be included in the upgrade programme, so a cheap way to get the new software .

What I have started doing is building my £10 vouchers upto £20 and its really simple to do..


start with 3 dove (£6.99) ones and 2 hand wash and then on the next one do 3 doves and 4 hand wash and once I get it to £20 I get the £20 I just get 6 doves each time or something else special.

Remembered to put rubbish out at 6am this morning, discovered Fourp had put a ruck of unworn shoes into the bin :mad::mad:

So threw them into washing machine & washed dust off them & they are now drying in the sunshine ready for the Charity shop tomorrow - shame on you Fourp
