My new ones are printing fine. I change them between 50% and 80% reduction for this very reason. Some I cut close to the green lines, others I leave a border........I'm auditioning for MI5:rotfl:

Good idea.People have suggested in the past to print in black & white but I have never done this.It would be a dead give away with the amount of wombles.

I'm hoping I will be on the new system soon.I'm quite looking forward to it and am thankful that they aren't dishing them out on the tills.

    Any legal eagles about?

Woke up on the 29th to find water had been pouring in to my kitchen through the extractor fan.

Phoned the housing association who said it wasn't an emergency and would send someone next week.

Advised to isolate to the fan electrics.

Pointed out that the isolation switch was right next to the fan and that the wires behind it would still technically be live.

Informed her that I could turn the sockets off at the fuse box (extractor fans are on the sockets circuit for some reason) and that I'll be expecting reimbursed from them for all the food in my freezer that would spoil.

Asked her if she knew what happens when electrics and water mix and got a very disinterested "yeaaaaaah".

Kicked up a fuss and I had a sparky at my door 20 minutes later, not a plumber, a sparky. His job was to check that the electrics was OK and to see if rain water was being blew through the ducting by the wind - it wasn't.

Sparky said he would report back to the HA and they would decide the next move.

Earlier today I had Niagra Falls coming through the fan again.

Tried called the emergency number for over an hour only to keep getting a "the mobile you are trying to call is switched off."

Eventually got through to some young girl who sounded like she was still hung over from last night.

Explained the situation and that I think it's coming from the guttering overflowing due to being blocked.

Girl advised that she would pass it on to the contractor to come out and sort.

Girl called back to say the contractors weren't coming as "cherry pickers were too expensive to hire last minute on a Sunday.

Again, was told to isolate the fan and I informed her of the situation.

Having spoke to the fire brigade whilst waiting for her call back they advised me to dial 999 as it was in fact a serious matter.

So I informed the girl that on advice of the fire brigade I would be calling 999 for them to come and isolate it and that would probably shut the electric off to the entire building as the water could be effecting other tenants electrics and not just mine.

Reminded her that the HA would not only get billed for the fire brigade coming out but they would then have 8 angry tenants as opposed to just one.

I then went on to say that I had been trying to call the emergency number for over an before she eventually picked up and that she had clearly had the phone off whilst she slept off her hangover and that I'd be making a complaint about this to the HA first thing Tuesday morning.

    The girl hung up.

    No advice but :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Sorry you've got this to deal with, sounds rubbish.

Wow: Well done I think I am lucky if i get a couple of pounds

I had £71.07 plus cashback in March.

3 days in May (today was pretty poor as too wet) £37.49 plus cashback.

When it's windy keep an eye out for rubbish being blown and where it goes as there will usually be a fair bit of wombles right there !
