    Anyone notice this on Sada website about the Tikka chicken?

    Country of Origin

    Thailand
    Packed In

    United Kingdom

    Almost 6000 miles, absolutely crazy.

    Well it's scientifically true. Chicken's parent species is Gallus gallus, the Red Junglefowl of India which is really from Thailand. Ultimately.

    Can't imagine it would be economic to transfer an actual chicken from there.

    Wasn't it reported a few years ago that shellfish or suchlike was flown from the UK to Far East to be processed and flown back?

    Couple of animal tales for you :D

    When I got into bed last night, my asbo cat decided she was getting under my duvet with me. She snuggled down then put her paw in my hand :D

    When my laying hen went into the nest box yesterday, me and my 11 year old helper went round to the side of the run so we could take a little peek at her in the box. I've got golf balls in each nest box and when I cleaned their bedding yesterday morning, I'd moved one of the balls and put it in the clean nest box. I'd clearly forgotten to out it back where I found it because we saw the hen MOVING THE GOLF BALL over the piece of wood separating the boxes and put it underneath her :eek: :rotfl:

    It must be bad if you're washing dishes in the bath :rotfl:
    I've never done that :whistle::o

    It's only one days worth not like the student digs. :p

    Anyway dishes in my shiny new bath. :eek:

    Years ago when I was having new kitchen fitted in my first flat I did wash up in the bathroom sink. But there wasn't much as we were living off takeaways while it was being done so couldn't cook either.
