I know;) did you manage to sort the chair for your dad?
Yes, thanks. Excellent result. I was going to order the Kirton (sp? that savvy sal recommended) when I got a call today to say that the nursing home would buy one as they thought that Dad's quality of life would be greatly improved if he could 'mix' with other people. :j:j:j It will be there next week. :j They used a 'makeshift' chair today and took him into the lounge. His verdict? It was boring, everyone was in a wheelchair or using a frame or can't walk.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Yes, dad, but you can't walk at the moment. Dad replied hmm, but they will take me into the lounge tomorrow, won't they?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Money can't buy what that means to me.:j:j:j Hopefully, the start of a new part of his life rather than just going there to finish his days.

:j:j Since I stuck with the old!
But -:(not v. good situation at all, was right not to trust the new one on this - seems to me it may be getting its info. from elsewhere (yet it has managed to pick up £1 ICB on sains.co.uk). I think it's possibly these different descriptions and the keywords it uses - seems they are changing from a fairly reliable (yes, reliable:rotfl:) system to one which, like Sains BM, sometimes fails to pick things up because of quirks in different wording used. The new site - the one we'll all be forced into in due course no doubt:(.
:eek:That broccoli v.expensive - even if it was somewhat more than 335g and was largest one I could see(:rotfl:), I'm beginning to conclude fresh veg. is v.expensive by weight compared to the much more you get in the frozen! And we have got through loads of those, unfortunately:(, so had to buy more of them today.
Also don't like the fact the vouchers from the new one are much bigger (is it only me?) and you can't get two to a page anymore:( unlike the old ones. Are they querying the new look of the new ones in the stores in A? Or are they just accepting them and taking them like the old-style vouchers?0 -
