I did post last night that size 2 and 3 give the best return against T, I'm so out of touch with how many of what size are needed.

DD2 has had a third scan now, she's 14 weeks (had a bit of concern at the beginning of preg but all ok thankfully) and been given the same due date as DD1, they were originally a day apart.

Poppy, and aau1 if you're still about, I'm stashing like mad at the moment for them both and wondering how many size 1 and size 2 nappies each baby would need. Don't suppose you can help me out re numbers pleas
    e :A

DD2 was 8lbs and I think we only used 2 packs of about 80 size 1s

    7 weeks later and she's 10lbs and I think we're on our 3rd pack of 70ish size 2s now

I reckon she'll use another pack of those before we move up again

For £2 just buy a shedload :rotfl:

ETA: If I have any surplus when I move from one size to another I just play the dumb-dad card and exchange it instore for another size. (so long as it's still being sold of course)

I'm never sorry where Dotty is concerned :p As for the rest quite the opposite I'm afraid to say, quite the opposite. Just trying to laugh to get through this day. Speaking of which I'm off to bed, the last six days have knackered me out!*

Not sure it matters how many of each size as most supermarkets and Mr shoes allow exchanges if you have packets left and need to go up a size. If pampers could probably exchange anywhere.

More Surf, this time on the comp. vs Morries, offset:(:

    1 x Batchelors Cup a Soup with Croutons Chicken & Vege...£0.49£1.19:(
1 x Surf Essential Oils Powder Tropical Lily & Ylang Y...£4.00£2.85

I bought mine of course some time ago when they were on cheaper RTC in M than expensive 10% off £2.85 price:rotfl: that still works out at more expensive than 10p/wash!

I wouldn't suggest buying the Cup a Soup at 49p in A - they were, obviously,
cheaper in A when they were more expensive on the shelf price and M were 50p:rotfl:.

At least it's helping the Morries comp that a range of different ones of these are £2:T in M:
1 x Comfort Concentrate Fabric Conditioner Blue Skies ...£1.97£2.00

Of course, not my price just that it helps when M is £2 rather than appearing as £3. These are 'half-size' 42 washes - I prefer them when they are 85 washes at £3, so that 42 washes for £2 is pretty expensive - it's another 1/3rd mark-up:(, as I would therefore expect 42 washes to be £1.50 before I'd have any interest in them based on this.

They fell for the 87p pears:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::
    1 x ASDA Conference Pears (600g)£0.87N/A

Don't forget the more expensive pears work out cheaper!

If you buy the above pears at 87p, then you have done your 87p - they are N/A vs most places and even, if the rest of your shopping happens to be best with not 10% cheaper than T, then you have reduced the value of your voucher if you happen to check the APG (in effect taking the pears up to paying about £1.32:eek: for them rather than buying them separately at still expensive 87p):

    Vs T
    1 x ASDA Conference Pears (600g)£0.87£1.47:(

If you buy these instead and buy them in a comparable shop vs T (like I may have done earlier), not only do you get 50g more but they work out cheaper:D:

    1 x ASDA Sweet Pears (650g)£1.00£0.73

However, you have to buy at least 7 other grocery items:(. So you can't just pay for them cheaper or get them by themselves cheaper. However, in the context of grocery shopping, this isn't really a great downside as you would at some point need to buy other groceries to keep alive and wouldn't just buy a single pack of pears ever and never ever at any point buy nothing else whatsoever at any stage in the future. I don't think a single pack of pears for a lifetime would sustain a lifetime - well, it would - after a period of days, your life would be much much shorter! So, in grocery context, we would at some point have to be buying other groceries and therefore could in effect get those pears cheaper if done at the right time (and in the correct way):T.

(It's not that good, in the sense I used to go for 800g pears when they went to quite rare low of 50p elsewhere (must have been a loss leader?) but it is, it seems, the best that can be got from A these days. Unless they have any odd-shaped fruit (the 'beautiful inside?') in the few trial stores going for any cheaper. But 650g Sweet Pears is currently much better than the 87p Conference that, in many stores, appear to be on the end aisle that most people see as first thing when they immediately walk into the store. Sweet Pears, in the superstores, tucked around the side;).)
