I've also used Black Circles the last two times I have needed new tyres as they've been the cheapest on both occasions. You buy the tyres online and they arrange fitting at a local garage but it still works out cheaper than anywhere else I've found.0 -
Well, it turns out that we had TWO "first eggs" today :j
I just found today's third egg buried under the hay in the nest box. Looks like one of the new layers decided she didn't want it in there with her, so hid it :rotfl: :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Re ham, I've noticed our morries have had a lot of their carvery breaded ham in the whoopsie cabinet the past couple of weeks. It's £2 a pack and on offer for 2 for £3.50. I didn't pay much attention to the multi as they've been over stickering the red flash with the yellow whoopsie label, however bought one pack a few weeks ago and stuck it in the freezer.
DH bought a bundle this week (12 packs) which were reduced to 29p. You guessed it, morries multi still came off at the till (manned not ss), just as well he bought some other bits so it didn't notice - it works out at blinkin 4p a pack
This is what it looks like - took a pack out the freezer yesterday and we have nearly finished it:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
That's me calling them spongy, I found the caravans are insulated with a type of polystyrene and when it gets damp it goes soft, so there are places I can feel that are not firm. Does that make sense.
The roof rail we reseated is no where near the washroom so this must be a completely separate problem. Not sure if it was possible a leak from the inside out when the previous owners used the shower room as a shower. As the sink is cracked around the plug hole and Mr TS made it worst last year so we never used it. We will get round to sorting it but not a priority when you have the kitchen sink.
And when I cleaned the shower tray last year which is actually the floor of the wash room I didn't realise the grubby stuff I was cleaning off was some sealant round the crack round the plug hole. I inspected it closer today and there is also a crack by the toilet, it is because they make the GRP so thin so the caravans are not heavy to tow. Mr TS will be able to repair both with his knowledge but I am low down on his list of jobs to do.

Tyres are one of the easiest cosumambles to negotiate over price when phoning for prices, particularly if you need more than one.
Get a number of online quotes first, then ring around and always knock off a reasonable amount of any quote you've been given online when being asked what you've got so far. Most will at least match if not undercut.
You can generally undercut the cheapest tyre suppliers like Profit, Black Circles, Micheldever etc0 -
Thanks bubbs for that.Looks like I will lose about £3 on the 5 that you checked.

Whitworth's Granulated Sugar 2Kg is comparable vs Morries - £1.15 vs £1.20 (not 10% cheaper!) - on the new site, but is £1.15 vs N/A on the old site.0
