Getting paid to run your own errands. :T
Goodnight PD. Look after yourself. :A0 -
Please can I ask for any recommendations on how to get mould out of matresses.
It's the caravan ones in couple places, don't really want to pay to replace them until we know we are definitely water tight again. This mould has been caused by condensation between mattress and solid bed board according to things I have read. As thankfully caravan sound that end.
Have read the pink tub of oxi stuff works anyone used this before?
A few drops of tea tree oil on some water in a squirty bottle will kill the spores, and you can squirt it all over your trailer.my dad was just the same...Ive been sat here in tears this afternoon because I have to potentially think outside the box to solve a problem....one which my dad would have adapted something to suit and produced the finished article from his shed.
my problem is that a part I need for my oven has now been discontinued...its not an important piece but needed all the same...its such a waste to in effect discard the oven over what amounts to a 3cm piece of plastic that is the timer button....but I have scoured the internet and a replacement cant be found
Do you need the timer button?? I never use it....But, if you did, what about moulding yourself one with something like this, it goes all soft and mould-able when it has been in hot water, then when it cold, it sets hard.

Or just get yourself a piece of plastic dowl the right diameter and size, drill a hole in it to slide onto its shaft, and glue it on.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

That's set me off again....I accidentally caught a photograph earlier of the wonderfully brave Stephen Sutton making his famous thumbs up sign from his hospital bed, shortly before his death. It's nearly a year ago. He looks so happy.
