Seems to be possibly 4 hours on the new site, as now accepting a receipt from 1pm, but not one from 1.30pm.0

my dad was just the same...Ive been sat here in tears this afternoon because I have to potentially think outside the box to solve a problem....one which my dad would have adapted something to suit and produced the finished article from his shed.
my problem is that a part I need for my oven has now been discontinued...its not an important piece but needed all the same...its such a waste to in effect discard the oven over what amounts to a 3cm piece of plastic that is the timer button....but I have scoured the internet and a replacement cant be found
If you give me an indication of the make and model plus the part....0 -
Please can I ask the gardeners on the group a question pretty please.
I went to look at summer bulbs in Home Bargains and B & M today and they were all very tedious, just move of the same
So I wondered does anyone use a particular firm online eg through ebay - I am thinking ease of the buying process, quick dispatch and no or very little additional postage.
I also need ideas for unusual summer bulbs to look for - or at least unusual colour ways, double, repeat flowers, late bloomers etc. I've got a cottage garden so it has to be pastel colours, whites and greens - no shrieking reds and yellows and I oranges.
I've got a garden full of forget me nots at the moment so I've started
Putting bulbs in the middle of them so when they go over there will be green shoots sticking up all over the place“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Can you find an old non workign version of the oven and salvage a button?
I doesnt seem to have a make...it was imported from china or possibly germany about 6 years ago and the import company has gone bust....so all we have is a model number.
I dont think it was in anyway expensive possibly even budget range but it just seems madness to ditch the oven over a missing button
its in the new rental property that we completed on last week and TBH...the whole place is just going to end up being a money pit...
I even for a fleeting moment thought about going to introduce myself to the neighbour who probably has the same oven as the conversion was done at the same time....and stealing their button...but my morals are still intactfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Nevertheless, we'll be keeping ours until it goes bang. It was the first new TV we had, always other people's cast offs until then :money:(excluding a very small flat screen one, which we now use as a monitor on the PC)
We always though the same - nothing wrong with the TV - no intention of replacing it anytime soon, so much rubbish anyway.
But OHs work mate, more money than sense, changed his TV and OH bought the old one for £150 :T
(Our old one has gone up north to youngest son so that sorted his problem out - he is in a shared house and one of the lads brought a TV with him when they all moved in - This TV though was part of a custody battle with the lads girlfriend when they split up so she claimed possession of it :rotfl: - so we took out Old TV with us to Center Parcs in January so youngest son could collect it)
Anyway our new TV that we got for £150 is HD and we were shocked at how different it is - pictures are so clear and defined, it feels like a huge technological leap. It's not something we would ever have even thought of buying otherwise but we are so glad we have it now :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
