Chemist it is after the school run. Thanks for the info :A
If it's really sore and affecting his sleep this stuff is amazing!

It's available in tesco and Asda as well as chemists and suitable from age 12. There's also a blue one which has a different -caine ingredient. These are the only things of their type that actually work imo iykwim.
Anyway, if it's pain because his brace has just been tightened, my boys did ok with just ibuprofen, and this pain only lasted a couple of days (usually just a dull ache in day 2). The Orajel helps with instant pain reduction though.
It's only a game

I suffered terribly with ulcers as a child and used to use bonjela like it was going out of fashion.
My mum even took me to the doctors about it, think that was what was suggested.
I remember going to a wedding when I was about seven and having loads of them and couldn't eat and family trying to goad me into eating as I was known as a "fussy eater", I remember wanting to but it was too painful and to try to explain I opened my mouth wide to show off my mouth full of ulcers much to everyones disgust. :rotfl:

I do feel for him. He's still not got over the fact he can't drink coke anymore because of it. That's caused him more pain than anything else! I let him have one can on a Friday as long as he brushes his teeth straight after. He's like a lottery winner every Friday when he gets home :rotfl::rotfl:
Ah it'll be worth it.......that's what I keep telling him anyway.
Yes it will, although to him the end seems so far away.0 -

Thank you. The As I was in today had very little. I was running too late to wait in the Q at the chemist.0 -

If it's just a sharp join in the brace you could sand away the sharp bit with a nail file. But have a glass of water ready to swill...
I've had to do that in the past, just couldn't cope with the pain of it catching
Hope you find something that eases his suffering
Agreed. I had to do the same when I had braces. My mum used a metal thimble to file it down.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
I wonder if the tanks he built at sea life centres are still water tight.
I should have more faith I know.
Will be interested to know if it is the stuff that worked for you cjj xx
Will let you know later tiny. I think you will be ok though as he sounds like an absolute pro :rotfl: Bet the seals and stingrays and the like would agree tooxx

FC, there is an adults bonjela, which says on the box its for over 16 only. I think both my two kids used the normal bonjela (baby one) as suitable for anyone, as they both had a few issues with braces, although didn't last long.0

fairclaire wrote: »Still full price in the one I was in today too, Anon. No surprises there though. Rarely see much of the RTC stuff that's reported on here.
I'll avoid Blackpool then:rotfl:.
No luck with me on the Muller 6s either - my stores now have the new pricing on the SEL and they're scanning at that:(. Even the ex-Netto is on the ball with the Muller Lights that they stock (unfortunately, no different pricing on in there than what's on .com & msm) and no Muller Rices that I wanted:(. Never mind - another cancelled shop. I remember you were unlucky with the Pringles being £1, instead of £2.48 & 2 for £3, so, is your store the only one with £1.82/£1.94 pricing on this time?:rotfl:0
