While we're on the subject of card fraud, after my incident yesterday my replacement card arrived in the post today. Top service. Also got another two packs of face wipes for an Alba trial :D

I did the inclusion survey as soon as it arrived on Monday and was hoping to be included - just coming to the end of a facial wipes pack so fingers crossed for tomorrows post :D.

    Womble from today, vs M:

    1 x Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL - 43 Red Passion£5.49£3.99

So, I was on the right track. Probably rejected them due to being too expensive at M:rotfl:. I've no idea at the moment:o:o as to whether they are on mbuy or not in A but only one bought on the receipt.

Amazingly I've done v.well out of this price collection - lots of other items and all but three of them not 10% cheaper than M:T. The three that were didn't lost that much - some bread:( £1.00 vs £1.35; some Dreamies cat food at 97p vs £1.20 (I assume it's cat food) and some baby wipes 64p vs 79p:(. So, Morrisons is cheaper!!:D:D:j

The Grapes not picked up for M:
    1 x ASDA Green Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.50N/A
However that is a good thing:T, especially when only one pack is bought, as they are £2 individual pack in M! They are also on 2 for £3, but that seems to stand no hope of being picked up as they don't appear to have picked up the product at all! The Red Grapes (and the Black ones fwiw) are straight £2 in M - no mbuy on them at all although the Green and Red in the same run in my M stores, so could easily pick up two packs of red thinking they cost 2 for £3. There is, very clearly, no mention of any mbuy on the label for the Red, but surely just so easy to do when shoppers have literally a few seconds per item to select an item on their full shopping!

It also seems the Snack Pork Pies went up to £1.58 or something on Monday, so it was good of them not to compare. I'm sure I vaguely remember seeing a pack at 99p last week. However, why would you expect me to pay any notice to 4 Snack Pork Pies at 99p when the SP larger ones have been at 89p?

However, this is all getting into what's to come later.

    3 x Tic Tac Strawberry Fields (18g)£1.00N/A:(

    3 for £1 in M, probably.

The SP Lemon Curd comparison has also disappeared vs M:
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Lemon Curd (411g)£0.22N/A

So, it looks like they finally disappeared in their stores too - or maybe they are still there but they seem to have missed quite a bit off on Monday (so we can't tell:(). There I was - I thought my price collection on Monday wasn't done very well, as I started at a new store and had to deal with that, and was already running late, but it turns out I seem to have done a better one that they did! Today's wasn't too bad - not much change again (yet I always have loads of extra things written down:eek:) - I may as well say some Takeaway meals on £3.25 everyday low price:eek: but buy 2 for some More points, don't know if they compare good vs anywhere. As you know, it should be £2 absolute maximum on those, so as for their £3.25 'low' price...:eek:. (General public's price perception is obviously all completely wonky:rotfl:.)

The 340g Beef Meatballs, which were £1, seem to have disappeared in the two stores I've checked - and not bothering going to look at further stores just for the sake of them. If they have completely gone, I can fully understand why - they were at such a good price (that perhaps M clearly does not want to be offering for too long:D...)!

Evangeline: may have those "Special" tomatoes that you like going equivalent onto offer in M. Will need to check more fully though as may have been changes in pack sizes that thwart it all! (Let's hope not!) (Obviously not for yet...wait till nearer the weekend in any event.)

    More later no doubt.

    For QOC :D

My Sussex laid her first egg today  the one on the left. It's got to be hers because the little speckeldy is too young to lay yet and white stars lay white eggs. I can't weigh it because I don't think we have kitchen scales :o and my postal scales battery is flat. I put it next to a normal sized one. I'm surprised she's still walking  :rotfl:
