    I am an idiot

I bought a few more chicken last night. Forgot to process my receipt as I fell asleep in front of the TV. I have just processed my APG(old site) and it matches £5v£5 :(.

So much for the theory that it uses the price locked in the system at the time of the shop :o.

Just had a thought - just to make you aware, I came across what looked like a different version of the individual packets of Trebor Softmints Peppermint in my first store. (In my first store, as it happened, so might not have worked anyway if I had bought the one there - thank goodness OOS on the bread.) Looks like the Trebor Softmints Peppermint (to get back to the point) may now, printed on the packet, say 42.9g:(.

Msm has it as 43g. Older version that I actually bought - does not appear to have the weight on the packet - is BC 5010 5090. So, that one works.

I was in doubt about the Trebor mints first time I bought them months ago - wondering whether my Trebor Extra Strong Mints roll pack would be the exact same weight as the one on msm and whether it would appear or not. I've been caught out, as you know, on slightly different crisp pack sizes before:(. Maybe looking into it now, on the sweets, too much unnecessarily.

Also, however, it's not the case that only one unique BC and no other applies to bring up a specific item on the APG system. For example, the loose fruit and veg, bananas, broccoli, carrots, etc. etc., scan as a different "BC" if they are weighed on the scale machines and a price ticket printed out, than the one that they key in on the till and then weighing the product charges its price (or which is put onto the SS and when the product item is selected then weighs and prices the product on the scale). The cod, for example, even when it has different codes - you may buy one (or more) at £2.50 individual on the price label - if you buy more the mbuy comes off on the till/SS - "BC" includes 250, or may buy two in the same packaging and "BC" includes 500 if priced by the fishmonger together but mbuy to make it 2 for £4 is taken off. Both different codes that appear on the receipt (depending on how the item is priced and bought) appear as the same cod on the APG. (Not that you would be buying the cod at present.):)

    Goodnight, again:rotfl:, folks!

    Vodafone SIM only Unlimited Mins/Texts/1GB 4G Data. £15.30pm - effective £3.99pm after cashback + £5.25 TCB @ e2save

    IF IT WORKS ;)

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/vodafone-sim-only-unlimited-mins-texts-1gb-4g-data-15-30pm-effective-3-99pm-after-2191454

The deal or the SIM ...? Having experienced the delights of joining Vodafone through Mobiles last month I have today, just now, got my number ported in. It will be a good deal over the year but has been a major hassle for a month for me after a catalogue of errors :(. This deal was supposed to save me time switching between SIM deals :o.

I know I am not alone having problems with Vodafone (see the complaints thread ) but am sure there are many happy customers too. If you prefer there is a similar deal on 02 for £3.99 but 1000 mins (more than enough for most people!).

Remember this is a Cashback deal that relies on you submitting bills at set points throughout the year to reclaim the money (you pay the contract each month).

Definitely last night (i.e. before midnight)?
If so, then this is my old concern about buying on Monday picking up Monday's prices, nonetheless, if the receipt is checked after the update later on. (Sunday, surely?, would have worked?!?:think: As, even if delayed until Tuesday then checked, the last Wednesday data applies to a Sunday shop - but :eek:not to a Monday one. Explanation I had from A before (a long time ago) - I wanted the new data but did not get it - was "You shopped before the prices had been collected".) Yet I think we'd have it when updates have been late before (rare occasion went onto the Wednesday - and on a non-bank holiday week) and yet, still, my Tuesday shop, delayed checking until late in the week, did not work:mad:.

    I won't end on a "mad", so goodnight all!:)
