One observation on Muller which someone may wish to check on self scan. When you go above 6 the multi at the top of the screen is not fixed until you hit 10 - it keeps recalculating and those above 6 appear as a separate multi on the receipt. I didn't pay enough attention but is it recalculating across all or just the additional? And how is it calculating? It may be that the assumption of needing to get all 10 may not be correct and buying 9 may still give you the multi saving - which then means you have 9 to match the 3 for £1 offer in W.

Just a thought, untested so could be completely wrong and despite it calculating as it goes along it may only apply the discount at 10, but with the calculations on the previous thread I think I am right in saying people were using logic/maths rather than based on an observation of A till behaviour.

not bought any for ages but this was pointed out before. what happens is - once you get to 6, each one you scan goes up on the running total at a reduced amount (same amount for each additional one) until you get to 10. so in theory if you only wanted 8 you could stop there. you don't need to get 10.
now please note its over a year since ive scanned any but I assume it has not changed when this double offer is on.
they may scan at the full price but running total only goes up at the reduced amount.
