    We have had one on the cusp of the deadline with the same lender and have submitted this.

    They have not accepted it yet, although expect them to.

    Ah good idea! I will have a look. I seen to have misplaced my folder with all documents related to my previous employer, again out of character for me but we moved from south England to Scotland so it was big move.

    I'm hoping this doesn't cause a delay it's nerve wracking enough!

    I will have another proper look tonight.

    Also trying to get hold of mortgage broker to see if they will accept anything else. My last pay slip has complete breakdown of what was paid last year including deductions, you would think that would be enough.

    Our application was accepted!

    Obviously not the best choice of lenders given the interest rate but I need to accept given other halves credit history.

    Might well be time to look for a more responsive Bank with better c.s. than Barclay's, bottom of the satisfaction survey printed in yesterday's Guardian.
