sending letters to child maintenance

I have sent two letters to child maintenance to the address given to me to send post and on all correspondence from them, both A4 thick letters. The first letter had correct postage (not recorded delivery) and they said they didn't receive it, I've sent the same information again recorded delivery this time and again they say they haven't received it although it has been signed for. I've spent about £6 on postage altogether. I'm really annoyed. Has anyone else had trouble with sent mail being lost in child maintenance system?

Hi to Mitchelldean CMS.
I requested a subject access and received everything on my file, it had the first letter I sent date stamped 13th of April, despite sending it on the 22nd of March. I phoned repeatedly to see if they received my first letter up to the 16th of April and they said they never received it and resend it. I sent the letter again and this time recorded delivery and this was stamped as received a lot sooner.
It would definitely seem they give priority to recorded delivery mail as they scan all documents onto their system. The first letter took a month to appear on their system.0 -
I was once told that it is better NOT to use recorded delivery as it takes longer to get to the correct dept0
