7 year debt

Hi, my wife has been getting debt letters from a debt agency stemming from a vodafone mistake in 2007. We stay in Scotland and it was my understanding that this debt would now be time barred and gone. I have read some threads mentioning a pro forma letter, could anyone share this to get rid of this agency? Also, how would this affect my wife's credit rating? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, thats cleared that up. How does this affect someones credit rating?

If your wife still needs any help with this, ask her to email me with her details via the link in our profile here.

All she'll need to do is copy and paste the link into her web browser and it'll take her to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me, she'll also need to quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line.
