Facebook unable to like :(

So my facebook account got blocked today and I had to prove my ID.
Now when ever I try to like a page I get this message:
'Your attempt to become a fan was not successful. Please try again.'
I've read that this may be because I've liked too many pages and maybe temp.
Has anyone else had this and if so how long did it last?
If I can't like pages I can't enter many comps
