can anyone recommend a cheap, well stocked haberdashery in either belfast or co.down? i find the spinning wheel and craft world belfast to be quite expensive. there is a little shop on callendar street in belfast that is cheaper but doesnt have enough choice

There are a few places - The Paragon in Donegall Pass and also its also got a shop on the Cregagh Road , there a lttle shop that does buts and pieces just in front of St Mary Church behind Castle Court in Chapel Lane. There also a great wee place on the Antrim Road opposite the Waterworks . Hope that helps0

I think harpo's recommendation is called something like the quilted goose.
