Sorry for offtopic but I am in process of RTB.This Thursday I'll have house valuation from council.My question is:On the day of valuation will I be able to know possible house price or is better not to ask?Also any of you who already done rtb could tell me if your house valuation was about the same as market price or was it lower then simillar houses around on that time?Very nervous ,as don't know what sort of price to expect,any help appreciate.thanksLoan £3450 left

Improvements are usually taken into account if you've applied for permission to do them. But you could try to have it taken into account, it won't hurt. Some councils are so incompetent they would lose the paperwork anyway.

The valuation depends on the council. My council were greedy b%£*s and overvalued by 25%, which meant I had to appeal to the District Valuer. This delayed the process. The best way to find out what the valuation should be is look up recent sold prices of similar properties in the area.
