Should I tell my boss about job offer?

My temporary employer matched my offer today, had couple of hours to think it through before I declined so I'm opposite side to OP

Reasons:
They produced a full job description - could see for previous 'low wage' they had also lowed their expectation somewhat

Disloyal - going for job interviews meant my heart wasn't fully there

Never heard any praise and don't mind saying I'm a needy person - I got praised in the interview for new employment and that's all I remember

Couldn't bare the thought of turning the other company down, knowing there was a real need and only because of them I'd be getting the salary I was after


Silent regret there whatever I'd gone with so wouldn't have won really

Leaving on good quiet terms and when I like, few tears still what a joy, though nothing like ringing up new employer saying have you calmed down? can I still start (if not nothing stops me grabbing a whole new life elsewhere)
