Aviva one-off contribution not showing online yet

I paid a one-off payment to my Aviva pension on April 1 and it is still not showing on my online statement of the policy
I called them last week and they said they had a backlog because of so much money being put in and it would show soon, dated correctly and in the right year as if it was posted on the day.
Anyone else in the same boat - I guess nothing to worry about but still seems poor given modern systems etc?

may depend on how you made the one-off payment. A cheque needs more human intervention than an online transfer, with debit card payments somewhere in between. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

No facility to do online so phoned and paid by debit card....processed immediately ....tbh it would put me off choosing to add to that policy again0

Hi Teeonethousand
I'm really sorry to hear the payment isn't yet showing on your statement. This can sometimes take a little while to show; however I'd like to take a look over your details to reassure you and confirm everything's ok. If you'd like me to do so, please email the following details to social@aviva.co.uk. I'll then liaise with our Pensions team to check why this is -
Full name
Date of birth
Postcode
Policy number
Money Saving Expert username
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Many Thanks
Stephanie

you seem very easily put off; have you considered the tax savings you have made by making the payment? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

People are less productive these days it appears. English take 5 days for what the French manage in 4.0 -

Hi Stephanie - I called the helpline again before I saw this post and your kind person is sending me an email confirmation that all is well and promised it would get posted shortly - she handled it really well and I am comfortable that all is OK
Thanks for your offer - good to know you are watching :-)0
