today is a new start

well i have transfered my bonus i got to another bank account and then cut up the bank card for the account it went to.

Also i have setup a standing order for roughly the amount a mortgage would set me back if i was to take one up just to see if i can live on the remaining amount. once again money transfered to this other account.

I have also wrote a letter to close all bank accounts with BOS that am not currently using.

I want to start to improve my credit rating but not sure how to go about it. I just had a CCJ and default removed lately and only have a CCJ left which is removed in 12 months time.

Also before the weekend and going to ebay all stuff i no longer need aswell.

Why don't you post up your statement of affairs and see if people can help you cut back further?

i will be honest i dont to cut any further back tho cause i take home £2k a month and my outgoings at the moment is very little thats why i decided to transfer a large amount which would kinda b like a mortgage payment and see how i get on from there cause at the moment i know there is money in my account and i wont run out by the time i get paid again cause i work 2 weeks away and then i get 2 weeks off i work offshore so really only home for 2 weeks out of a month.

like i said i learned alot from my mistakes and just want to head in correct direction this time.

    income £2,000
    extra income £300-400
    rent £200
    insurance £35
    BT £40
    internet server access £20
    contact lenses £15
    snap on tools £200
    phone top up £10-£20
    blank media discs £30-40

The snap on tools will end very soon once its paid off.

I have setup a standing order for £1000 a month to go into another bank account which i can withdrawl money from.

You also need to include food/council tax/elec bills/gas/tv licence/mot/car insurance etc to give a truer picture of your finances.
