No standard delivery option on Amazon

I just went to Amazon to order some vitamins I have ordered before and it wants to charge me £6.01 for delivery - of a small plastic container weight 72g. When I looked at postage, there are only next day (expensive) delivery options, no standard delivery.
Is this a new scam to get more money from us?.

They now charge delivery for anything under £10 I think. Unless you are a prime member.0

My order was over £10 - with two items but for some reason the second item did not qualify for inclusion in the £10 total. Go figure! Also I am happy to pay delivery but standard delivery not express delivery of £6 on a 72g plastic container (pill bottle sized). There was no standard (ie normal post not express/next day premuim price) option offered although the item was coming from Amazon.
I went and bought it online from Holland and Barrett for less than half the postage cost.0 -
Was the second item from another seller, i.e. not Amazon? You need to order >£10 worth of stuff from Amazon to qualify for free delivery.0

It might be a marketplace item?
Regardless Holland Barrett is still better than buying over Amazon anyway. They also probably pay more tax :Pally.0 -
Can you link to the item, so we can try to replicate/ solve the problem?0
