    Payments don't get issued on a Saturday. Nobody is seeing any money till Monday morning.

    Nothing to do with banks they set them up this way paying on a Friday so they can hold onto your money longer. Last 4 years all my payments have been issued on a Friday and received Monday and I bank with Natwest also.

    Can anyone tell me why my account says updated to the 14th instead of today ?

    It is always a day behind with its update date. They update around 2 am but only to the previous day.

    Thats odd because ive checked every day this week and it said updated to that days date

    The reason I asked is mine shows as issued today then I got an email to confirm that, I've never heard of a payment being cancelled after issue

    I'm with NatWest and it will show in my bank tomorrow it may have Mondays date on but funds will be there.
    This happens eveyweek with my husband's wages in on a sat with Mondays date on.

    Agreed, I'm due to get paid Monday but it'll be in the bank tomorrow.
    I'm with rbs/natwest, some of my work mate have the wait till mon as they bank with someone else
