Good evening
I have today decided that I need a plan. I would like to reduce the amount of money I spend, increase the number of pounds I lose and increase the number of miles I run. That all sounds easy doesn't it
I would like to use this thread as somewhere to log all of these things. so here goes.
Sunday 12 April
Money spent - £5.90 in Tesco (Magazine, cake and diet pepsi)
Pounds lost - none current weight 196lbs. Goal 161lbs. I weigh in on Tuesday night, so will update this weekly.
Miles run - 1.4. I have signed up for a 10k run in July, so need to increase my milage
I will update each day to keep me motivated.
As background, I am the wrong side of 40 and work full time. I only have to cook for myself so I generally don't bother, preferring instead to eat ready meals or eat out. I suppose I should start to cook healthy food, so I will do that
I earn enough money to pay my bills and to buy the things that I need, but I feel guilty spending money on things I don't really need. I have joined loads of challenges on here, so Christmas, birthdays and car essentials are always covered each year. I also have some savings but still feel guilty spending the money I don't save. I would love to have one months salary left in my current account at all times. I think I can do that by watching what I spend on things I don't really need.
Good luck me

Good luck!
same boat except the running, was walking but found I'd compensate myself with extra food as I'd been good, urgh oh dear
still failed miserably when the walking stopped as it turned to comfort eating..
Got to stop, get a plan and go back to the diet club, I am toying with tomorrow as I got a card come through as missed so many weeks - hope it won't be to deversating when I get back on the scales and that I can be a new member, all over again
might have to tell them about the thyroid but it's no excuse
Spend today was £2.80 for newspapers (only day I buy them for me and Mum) on sneaking round for the sunday roast! so is probably a good exchange!
I think I shall limit my shopping back to Iceland for the ready meals, stop temptation and shelling out on stuff which is naughty and only serving to make me bigger
Keep calm, a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips!0 -
