This sounds like an ideal gadget for someone living in a bed-sit with no other appliances and no room for them either.
Given the number of other gadgets you own already I can't see the need for this one as well as it just duplicates the functions, not adding anything extra. Unless you plan to put the ones you own up on eBay or something. Personally, I could put fifty quid to better use than this but chacun a son gout0 -
I have Morphy Richards and wish I'd never bothered.
It won't replace your halogen as you can't roast in a multicooker, it won't replace your slowcooker despite the claims, it's not a sealed unit so steam escapes a lot, it also simmers even on a low temperature so you can't leave it on all day.
It's a decent steamer, I do steamed puddings in it, but as above, you get a lot of steam coming out the lid so have to have a window open or you end up with a damp kitchen!
I use it mostly as an expensive frying pan!0 -
I have a Tefal 8-in-1. I also have a programmable slow cooker.
I use both most days, mainly using the Tefal for rice or other grains, but sometimes as a second slow cooker. I like it because I can programme it and it keeps the rice/grain warm once cooked, meaning (together with the slow cooker) we have hot but not overcooked food whenever we get in from work and the gym.
I don't have any similar gadgets though, like a rice cooker, so don't know if they'd do the same thing?[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.
