I went shopping yesterday for this week as we had nothing but prawns and chips in the freezer, so went for a few multi purpose things that can also be bulked out with veg and lentils.

Sunday - chicken and veg pie, with chips for OH, salad for me.
    Monday - pasta
Tuesday - beef stew with dumplings
    Wednesday - prawn stir fry
    Thursday - chicken enchiladas
    Friday - chick pea curry
    Saturday - fishcakes

I have brought lots of veg and salad for this week as OH has 3 days off mid week which makes it much easier for us to have nice fresh food rather than things that have been bulk cooked at the weekend and frozen. I am quite looking forward to this weeks dinners!

I'm not sure how well this week will go, but I have a plan anyway...

S - Beef and veg satay with rice
M - Spicy mince and veg in wraps with salad
T - (I'm out) Leftovers from Monday for DH
W - Pork steaks with green beans and potato curry
T - Pork and veg stir fry with noodles
F - Pork, leek and mushroom risotto
S - Out, so sandwiches, crisps and cereal bars in the car!
S - Turkey casserole (freezer) with mashed potatoes and any veg that's left, or frozen veg if nothing else is left.

We've both got a busy week so will see how it goes :)

I always say we don't have anything to eat after a big huge expensive shop, with funds low and my first week on Slimming World started - heres my very first meal plan to hopefully keep me on track with both! :)

Monday - Jacket potato, beans salad (evening shift at work)
Tuesday - Shepards pie with lots of veg
Weds - Roast chicken, roast potatos with lots more veg
Thurs - SW friendly Mushy pea chicken curry with rice and SW chips/some sort of jarred curry for the husband and toddler (picky!)
Friday - Egg, SW chips and beans
    Saturday - Beef Stew
2017 wins so far: Diddly squat :(
    Make £10 a day in February - £16.05/£280
