Hi there,
I'm getting married next year and I'm going to book a few bridal appointments to try on dresses over the next few weeks.
What are the NI shops (Belfast/Lisburn ideally) that sell the best quality but more affordable dresses?
I don't want to book an appointment at a shop starting at £1000 or something as it would be disappointing and awkward! Eek.
Any experience would be greatly appreciated as it's all very new to me.
Thank you

Try Paradise Collections between Portadown and Loughgall - they have a very large collection to try, and the prices are ranging from sale right up to the extraordinary.
Consider the time of year your marrying, and look for past season dresses now, and things in sales now0 -
I know we should be supporting local businesses and will probably be crucified for this but the Euro rate is pretty darn good at the moment so have you looked down south? I know a LOT of folk are now having receptions down south at the moment as you can "apparently" save over £1000 on a 100 guest reception compared to hotels here in Northern Ireland...0

My daughter bought her dress from "itsall a boutme" who were based in Carrick at the time.
They sell preowned dresses and ex shop sample dresses. They stock a variety of sizes (my daughters dress was from a bridal shop in Lisburn, was last season and cost £400). It was absolutely beautiful and was a style we may not have seen in a regular bridal salon as she is a plus size.
They now have a wee place in connsbrook avenue, belfast

Hope you get your dream dress, wherever you buy it from.0 -

My Sister also got her dress here from Its all about me (Chloe I think her name was) when she was still working from home in Carrick. I had just heard last weekend she had opened up in Belfast.
I can definitely recommend her. My Sister got a dress that originally retailed for £2500. She paid £500. It is fabulous. (larger size as well).
Other thank that - LA bridal and Angel Star, both in Carrick have a good range of dresses to try, at a very wide range of prices.Mortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190 -
Ok, not sure if this is a good idea or not - but I saw 3 stunning wedding dresses in a charity shop in Lisburn last week - might be worth keeping an eye out and then spending your savings on a fab honeymoon... it was the Cancer R shop opposite Lindsay Ford in Lisburn - they were lovely!0
