Think I'm getting the hang of the DFW lifestyle...

Options
Just want to say a massive thank you and how glad I am to have found you wonderful people. (enter cheese emoji here)

In the last 4 weeks, I have been doing my upmost to abstain from spending, frittering and chucking money at things I really do not need and instead, making extra payments and chucking surplus at my debts.

I have reduced my debt by almost £300 (nearly 10% of my target for this year-hoping to hit it and go over) which I know, in the grand scheme of things isn't all that much but as a previous head burier, it is a great start for me.

I have all you fantastic people to thank as I have had no end of support from you and you're all so nice I don't think it would have been possible without you.

So thank you, my fellow DFW friends and on my last note, chuck me a bucket. Peace, love and financial freedom to you all.

well done you, I find it so hard to stick to budget and dont actually remember the last time i did. I'm gonna go over my budget tonight and redo it for next month (starting 16th) giving myself a realistic budget...its only 4 weeks, I can do it!
  • Thank you. I had a few mishaps in the beginning but gradually I've got into the swing of things. I love my spending tracker. Its brilliant for monitoring my spends and I can look back and realistically make a decision where to cut my spending.

You can do it. Everytime I feel I'm going to fail, I come here and just comment on a new thread and read a few diaries. Kicks my a**e back into gear. :rotfl:
