Do I need a Financial Advisor

I have 2 pension pot's one of £11,253.54 and one of £14,300.00 and want to combine them together do i need a fincial advisor to do this as i have phoned one company up and said i do.

    You dont need a financial adviser unless the company you are choosing to transfer to only retails their product via advisers.

    No need. It's the sort of money that you might want to transfer yourself to Hargreaves Lansdown, or Cavendish Online, or one of their competitors. Just visit their websites.

    Do it yourself - if you can post a message here you can ope a sipp yourself and invest it

    No need but you should check each of them to find out whether it has a guaranteed annuity rate attached. Those are typically available only on pensions started before the year 2000 and can pay far more income than an annuity available on the open market today, sometimes even more than deferring the state pension would pay.
