We did actually get through to the tax office and was on the phone for nearly an hour, because whilst there is a form P53Z to complete on line if you have taken your whole pension pot, it does not open up and HMRC customer services could not help. It would appear that Adobe have updated their version of adobe reader and it is not compatible with HMRC forms. Who knows how long this will take to reclaim my husbands tax back, he has overpaid 5,000 in tax. Quick to take your money, but no help when you want to claim it back, beware.0
