Hi again
I lost the car i was allowed to use. Very faulty and could not afford to repair.
I now get taxis to work. No other option as would not get to work on time and would lose my job. Informed OR and no contact. No issues.
I have started my new job and any additional remuneration I think I'm likely to receive (could be wrong because I based it on my current job role and I am now moving departments) is going to be swallowed up by the taxi costs.
As mentioned in a previous post i will be enrolled on a pension scheme. This payment (i think 5 or 6% of my wage) is likely going to be the only difference between me getting an IPA (assuming taxi expenses are not disallowed).
I know the previous advice on here was that paying into a pension is allowed but I'm concerned with how this will look to the OR? I.e. Oh look the BR is earning more money now but conveniently travel expenses have increased and a pension is being paid into so we can't claim any of it.
Will the OR disapprove and disallow such payments?
Just while we're kind of on the subject, should I receive a new SOA should I just fill in taxi expenses to and from work or include trips I need to make to the supermarket and medical appointments?
Again sorry for the long post I just want to make sure that I am doing everything right.
Thanks

Hi the pension is fine I pay 6% in the o.r was not interested in this. Cannot help on the other stuff.
Oh you cannot change your username sorry0 -
Ah that's a shame. It reflected my mood about the BR at the time. Maybe it's the change in the weather?!
I know the amount is fine but I never had a pension before and if I didn't have a pension via this new employment i believe there would be grounds for an IPA. So I was wondering if they would take a dim view of not being able to collect £50 a month because I suddenly have a pension?0 -
This will not be a problem, please do not worry0

Thanks for the reassurance - I am a natural worrier. Even drives me insane!0
