Hi all
I started my new job Monday (same job new employer).
What I would like to know is :
Do I contact the OR about this change (the new employer)?
Or
Do I contact the OR if the remuneration is different when I get paid?(won't actually know for a few months due to now being moved to a different department with different commission structure and having a completely different pay frequency to before ).
Or... Both?
I also read through this forum last night and saw some advice about keeping the update to the OR minimal and that if they want to follow up they will.
If this advice still rings true If was just thinking of saying "I am writing to inform you that I have a new employer (address) and that there may be a change in remuneration although this will not be clear for a few months".
Any thoughts on this?
In regards to tax credits i have received an overpayment this week. Tax credits office do not know why but have said they will amend. Does this need to be declared?
Thanks for your help again. I do have another query but may pop that up in a separate post.

P.s. How do I change my name???

I would inform the OR (within 21 days) when and if your income actually changes (up or down) I don't think you need to tell them your employer has changed - only if your income changes.
As for the TC's - HMRC will probably have the overpayment back off you at some point so I wouldn't worry about that - again, you would only need to tell the OR if the amount you regularly receive changes on a permanent basis.0 -
