Tesco DDs for Santander accounts

Suppose my wife and I had 3 Santander 123 accounts between us and a joint Tesco internet saver account. Could the latter be used for direct debits on all 3 Santander accounts? I assume this must be OK for the joint Santander account, but would it work for those in sole names? Are Tesco happy to draw money from a sole account to a joint one?

Tesco don't care (like any bank).
Santander don't say anything in the t&c that the DDs have to be different.
